YOUR TV SYSTEM
PAL SIGNAL
Our DVDs are recorded using the PAL TV signal, which is the standard used to
play DVDs through television sets in the United Kingdom and many other the countries throughout the world. If your delivery address is in a country that uses the PAL system, you will receive a PAL DVD, unless you advise us otherwise.
NTSC SIGNAL
The United States of America, Canada and the countries listed below use the
NTSC signal to play DVDs on their television sets, so if your delivery address is in any of the countries on this list, you will receive a DVD recorded on the NTSC
signal, unless you advise us otherwise.
Countries using the NTSC standard include – Antarctica, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Barbuda, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Burma, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Diego Garcia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Dutch Antilles, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Micronesia, Midway Islands, Montserrat, Nicaragua, North Mariana Island, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Eastern Samoa, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Surinam, Taiwan, Tobago, Tonga, Trinidad, USA, Venezuela and the Virgin Islands.
SECAM MESECAM D-SECAM
If you order from a country that uses the SECAM, MESECAM, or D-SECAM
system, you will receive a DVD recorded on the PAL signal, as PAL is the
preferred standard for playing DVDs on televisions using these systems, unless you advise us otherwise.
If you require a DVD in a different format from that of the country stated on your delivery address, please contact us first.
